What to Expect?
Individual adult sessions - 50-60 min in length.
Frequency depends on your needs, generally 1x weekly recommended to start, decrease in frequency when need decreases.
Self-directed case study of yourself. I guide you through many conversations which unpack those experiences which lead you to this very moment. The more often we meet, the more chipping away of that outer shell (defense mechanisms, unhealthy coping, aggression, anxiety, compulsive addiction, co-dependency, trauma, eating disorders, etc.).
Explore the development of belief systems that support these behaviors.
Explore individual cognitive structures and the cognitive triangle (thoughts, feelings, and behavior).
Interactive, utilizing psychoeducation to support understanding of your cognitive structure and intervene to promote cognitive restructuring.
Explore the biological basis of behavior and anxiety.
Explore Inner child -internal narrative and development.
Discuss philosophy, for example- the purpose of suffering, existence.
Develop healthy coping and belief systems, thinking patterns.
Develop your spiritual self, if desired.
Empower inner locus of control and disempower external people, factors.
